What am I missing？ Why is there so much hype with this author？ Nothing drew me in to this book at all。 Truly， it’s so boring and not very well written that I barely got to 30 pages and wanted to put it down。 After 100， most of it was skimming and hoping it would get better， but it never clicked with me。 I don’t think I will pick anything else up by her。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 A brilliant read， Lily is so relatable and painfully real not only as a main character but as a woman and i loved being able to see her thought process as an intelligent young woman being thrown around by a cruel world。 The story was heart breaking and also inspiring， it was a beautiful ending and I admire the author's ability to make me feel so safe in the book while also on the edge of my seat at every turn of the page。 However， 'Just keep swimming' provided an unintentional comedic element to A brilliant read， Lily is so relatable and painfully real not only as a main character but as a woman and i loved being able to see her thought process as an intelligent young woman being thrown around by a cruel world。 The story was heart breaking and also inspiring， it was a beautiful ending and I admire the author's ability to make me feel so safe in the book while also on the edge of my seat at every turn of the page。 However， 'Just keep swimming' provided an unintentional comedic element to otherwise tragic or heartfelt scenes and Ellen Degeneres was a questionable choice for Lily's diary entries。 This is easily overlooked in the big picture of this beautiful book and I can't wait for my next Colleen Hoover read。 。。。more

It Ends with Us was in my opinion a tad bit overhyped。 It was a good story， great even， but it didn’t really shock me during certain scenes nor did it really move me at times。 I didn’t feel really attached to Lily， other than also being in a position where I wondered if love was enough but other than that， I couldn’t connect & I wanted to。4/5 ！
